The Hawthorn players that hadn’t played in Thursday’s final in Western Australia trained this morning with Box Hill players getting ready for their VFL Preliminary Final next week. The big surprise to me was that the Big Noodle (Ned Reeves) trained, although was wearing the “no contact” hat.
A mixture of drills and match senecios. Skills seemed crisp. I think there is plenty to like from the Hawks players on the fringe that will push the players already in the team and be ready if anyone misses due to injury.
